Public Notice - Carlisle Township

The Office of Lorain County Engineer Ken Carney is currently in the process of collecting survey data and completing environmental studies to facilitate the design of the final construction documents associated with the resurfacing of Butternut Ridge Road between Oberlin/Elyria and LaGrange Roads in Carlisle Township. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2024 and traffic will be maintained during the work. Additional right of way will not be required to construct the project. The estimated cost of the improvement is $689,134 of which 80% is being funded through a grant from the federal highway administration.
