Public Notice - Brownhelm and Henrietta Townships

The Office of Lorain County Engineer Ken Carney is currently in the process of collecting survey data and completing environmental studies to facilitate the design of the final construction documents associated with the resurfacing of Vermilion Road between State Route 113 and approximately one half mile south of North Ridge Road in Brownhelm and Henrietta Townships. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2027 and traffic will be maintained during the work. Additional right of way will not be required to construct the project. The estimated cost of the improvement is $1,209,730 of which 80% is being funded by a grant from the federal highway administration through the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency. A grant from the Ohio Public Works Commission will fund the balance. For additional information, please contact Assistant County Engineer Robert Klaiber at 440-329-5586 or [email protected].
